Pan Pizza
This is my version of Pan Pizza. I made it on a baking pan. I used my homemade pizza dough and homemade pizza sauce. Both links to the recipes are below. The best part about this pizza is I make half of it the way I like it and the other half the way my husband likes it. I will show the steps I took to make this pizza but of course you will add your favorite ingredients.
Easy Pizza Dough:

Pizza Sauce:

Ingredients – or your favorite!
Spray the bottom of a large baking sheet with cooking spray.
Place the pizza dough on the pan.
Using your hands shape the dough to fit the pan.
Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough.
Add your ingredients.
Top with cheese.
Bake in a preheated 400 degree oven until the
crust is lightly brown and the top is cooked.
This could take different times according to the pan size and your oven.
Mine took about 35 minutes but start checking it at 20 minutes.
Let it sit for about 5 minutes then slice and serve.

Yummy! There’s this famous pizza place on Bleecker Street in NY called John’s Pizzeria that we stopped by last night. We ended up leaving because it’s always crowded and there was a line. Too humid and stuffy to put up with that. Lived here all my life and never tried them, had some of the other famous pizzas. Now I’m craving pizza for real. We like pizza from our local pizza place, our favorite is in my hubby’s old neighborhood.
Isn’t it amazing how many pizza places there are! Yet they all taste different.
Totally true! A lot of the famous pizza places I call “fancy pizza” because it’s different from a regular local spot that most of us grow up on. Maybe one day I should do a post on pizzas since we NYer’s can be pretty crazy about pizza. Would be a fun post. to eat and write. Your recipes always look so yummy.
I would love to see your post on pizza! What a great idea. Thank you so much for your support!
Yummy looking good
Thank you so much!
You welcome
i love the ability to make a half and half pizza
Me too! Also controlling the thickness of the crust and amount of sauce. The pizza places never seem to get it right.
Always a favorite and so many ways to change it up!
Right! That is the best part!!!
Diane, I am utterly hopeless when it comes to baking with yeast. But your pizza recipe (+ dough + sauce) have inspired me to try it again. This pizza looks amazing – I bet your family thinks you’re a hero when you make it.
Lol my husband is always pleased! What’s nice about this dough is you can press it into the pan and don’t have to roll it. It is a lot of dough so if you like a thin crust or a small pan it will make two pizza’s or you can freeze half of the dough for another day.
Looks yummy
Thanks!
Looks so delicious!
Thank you Erica!
Passing this one on to hubby. He has made pizza from scratch but not for some time.
Nothing better than homemade! Not only that it gives you a day of not cooking! Lol
Thank you!
The kids are spending a weekend in a few weeks, it looks like pizza for dinner. I have to put all three recipes together.
Use a big baking sheet it makes a lot of dough! They would love added their own ingredients I know my grandkids do!
I love this recipe! It looks so delicious and makes everyone happy 💗
Thank you and the happy is the best part…lol
Yum!!
Thanks! We do love pizza…lol
I should totally do this with the kids. Looks like fun.
Oh! We made pinata cupcakes for 4th of July. You’d be so proud! 😉
OMG that sounds wonderful! Are you going to post it? I would love to see it! Even I have never made Piñata Cupcakes! You did good!!!!
Whoops. they’re all eaten now. :/ sorry. And they did not turn out as pretty as the website I found showed them, but I’m not surprised. First time and all… but they were fun for sure. 🙂
That’s OK and they don’t have to be pretty, just as long as they tasted good!
That they did! 🙂
I’m not surprised!
Well, I owe Pillsbury a great deal for our success. Often I get a lot of assistance with baking from Betty Crocker too. 🙂
That’s how I started years ago! I still use both of them occasionally. Love the canned crescent rolls! Betty Crocker has the best recipes. I have her cookbook sitting next to me as I type!
Nice. 🙂
look great mmm
Thanks! Can’t go wrong with pizza!
