Italian Marinade for Chicken

My favorite Italian Marinade for chicken is Good Seasonings Salad Dressing. I don’t know if it is because of how quick and easy it is to make or the taste of the seasonings in the dressing. It is a dry mix that comes in a pouch. We buy it in this small box of four.

For complete instructions to marinate chicken pieces see the recipe card below.

You can cook your chicken pieces any way you would like. The chicken in the picture was cooked in our smoker. You can also bake or grill them for an excellent taste as well. Whatever way you decide to cook them, just make sure the internal temperature of the thickest part is 165 degrees.

  6. Whatever method you use to cook the chicken, just make sure the thickest part of the chicken pieces are 165 degrees before eating them.

    • Better off not using packets! Making them from scratch is so much better. I am slowly doing away with prepackaged foods. Americans have come to rely on convenience and quick cooking.

  1. This looks delicious. I’ve also used bottled dressing – cooked the chicken on the grill and baked in the oven. All delicious. Thanks for reminding me – now I’ve got to cook up some chicken.

  2. I wouldn’t say it is an Italian dish but sure it looks delicious and I’m not nationalist when it comes to food….tasty is tadty and without flags😉😋
