Tater Tot Hotdish

Do you love casserole recipes? I know I do. This was so easy to put together and it was very good too!!! It’s a one dish meal!

Ingredients

Spray a large lasagna type

pan with cooking spray.

Crumble ground beef evenly onto the bottom.

Sprinkle chopped onion over the top

of the ground beef. If you have a

picky eater that doesn’t like onion,

just don’t put it on a small section.

You can mark that spot by placing

the tater tots differently or just stick a

wooden toothpick upright in that section.

Spread the vegetables on top

of the hamburger mixture.

In a small bowl mix the soups together.

Spread the soup mixture

over the vegetables.

Place the tater tots on top in one layer.

Bake in a preheated 400 degree oven

for 80 – 90 minutes or until tater

tots are a dark brown.

Place into serving bowls and serve.

Ingredients

  • 2# ground beef
  • 1 – 32 oz bag frozen tater tots, thawed
  • 2 – 12 oz bags frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
  • 1 – 10.5 oz cream of celery soup
  • 2 – 10.5 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Spray a pan, about 11” x 15”, with cooking spray.
  3. Crumble raw ground beef and spread evenly onto the bottom of the pan.
  4. Sprinkle diced onion on top of ground beef.
  5. Spread the thawed vegetables on top.
  6. In a small bowl, combine the soups, salt & pepper. Spread the soup mixture on top of the vegetables.
  7. Layer the tater tots on top of the soup.
  8. Bake for 80 – 90 minutes or until the tater tots are dark brown.
  9. Place on a serving plate and enjoy!
