Tater Tot Hotdish

Do you love casserole recipes? I know I do. This was so easy to put together and it was very good too!!! You put the ground beef in raw and it cooks in the dish in the oven. It’s a one dish meal! This was the first time I have done that with ground beef. Usually I cook it first. I was never comfortable putting raw ground beef in but my fellow blogger friend posted this recipe and said it was delicious so I thought I would give it a try. I’m glad that I did and the ground beef was completely cooked. Her blog is http://www.meladycooks.com.

Spray a large lasagna type pan with cooking spray.

Crumble ground beef evenly onto the bottom.

Sprinkle chopped onion over the top of the ground beef.

If you have a picky eater that doesn’t like onion,

just don’t put it on a small section.

You can mark that spot by placing the tater tots differently

or just stick a wooden toothpick upright in that section.

Spread the vegetables on top of the hamburger mixture.

In a small bowl mix the soups together.

Spread the soup mixture over the vegetables.

Place the tater tots on top in one layer.

Bake in a preheated 400 degree oven for 80-90

minutes or until tater tots are a dark brown.

Place into serving bowls and serve.
