Baked Beans

Baked Beans have been a staple at our family functions since I was a kid! My Grandmother wasn’t a great cook so she brought these to every function we had. She did have these cooked perfectly every time. I always wanted to eat the bacon laying on the top and today I still do! I no longer place the uncooked bacon on top of the Baked Beans though. Now I cook the bacon, break it into small pieces and mix it in with the beans before I bake it. Anybody else like to eat the leftover Baked Beans cold the next day?
