Spaghizza

This is one of my favorite recipes that was given to me by a friend of mine, thanks Chris S! I have made this recipe many times. Talk about a hit with the kids…. spaghetti that tastes like pizza…OH YEAH! No reason why you couldn’t add sausage, onion or any of your favorite pizza toppings. Not only does this taste amazing, it’s very easy to make. It’s made in a 13″ x 9″ pan and makes a lot. So it’s great for a big family or in our case, great as leftovers. Ingredients

12 oz spaghetti, cooked

4 eggs

1/2 cup milk

1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

1 tsp dried oregano

2 tsp minced garlic

1 jar spaghetti sauce or use your own (3-4 cups)

3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

4-6 oz sliced pepperoni

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a large bowl whisk eggs, milk, parmesan cheese, oregano and garlic. Add cooked spaghetti and toss to coat well. Pour into a 9″ x 13″ baking pan and press down to create a crust. Top evenly with spaghetti sauce spreading close to the edge, but not to the edge. Sprinkle with cheese and top with pepperoni. Bake for 30 minutes until lightly browned. Let sit for 10 minutes before cutting.
