35 Years Of Happiness

Every love story is special, unique and beautiful, but ours is my favorite. When a love is true, there is no ending, I look forward to our 40th anniversary and the rest of our years together.

Thank you for being the kind of husband who shows up, gives his all, and makes love feel easy.

You’ve made every day better just by being the husband that you are. Happy anniversary!

  1. Happy Anniversary, Diane! I remember my Grandma saying, “The way to a man’s heart was through his stomach!” 🙂 I am sure your husband enjoys your cooking, but I am also sure you are a wonderful wife! May you have many more happy years together!

  2. Happy anniversary, Diane! 💕 wishing you two the best and look forward to seeing your 40th post one day. The years will just fly by. 🥰

  3. Happy anniversary to you Diane – not everyone finds a life partner that is special and checks all the boxes. I know the women in my family that preceded me, i.e. my great-grandmother, grandmother and mother did not find true love, just disappointment and heartache, so I decided to break the chain of unhappiness right there. My mother tried to dissuade me from my decision, but my mind was/is made up. Happily, not all women are as stubborn as me and enjoy a happy and fulfilling marriage like you have. I hope you have many many more years of bliss.

    • Wait until you see how fast the years go from 25 to 35 years. We went to Alaska on our 25th anniversary. We really splurged with first class seating and a suite on the cruise ship. Congratulations to you both on 25 years!

    • Thank you so much Carla. We almost didn’t have a chance for more years as my husband had a heart widow maker in November, luckily they caught it at 95% blockage. 4 Stents later he lucked out by not having a heart attack and not needing by-pass surgery. His diet has completely changed!

      • I’m happy to hear that the issue was found in time and he was able to have surgery. It is sure scary. Yes, lifestyle and diet changes are definitely called for under the situation. Such a blessing that it was found before a heart attack and permanent damage.

  4. Happy (very belated) anniversary, Diane and husband! You wrote the most beautiful words for your husband – I hope he saw it and spoiled you nicely 😉. I wish you guys many more years together.
I saw the health scare you mentioned to Carla here in the comments, and I hope he is doing better now. Fortunately, he has a wife who can cook up a storm of healthy dishes!
