Cheesy Turkey, Chicken or Pork Noodle Casserole

This is the perfect family meal as it has vegetables, noodles, your favorite meat, creamed soup and don’t forget the cheese! It would be easy with leftover Thanksgiving turkey, rotisserie chicken or cooked pork.

Cook the noodles according to package directions. Melt butter in a medium skillet and cook the onion, celery and carrots until the onion is no longer opaque.

Drain the noodles and return to the hot pot.

Add the rest of the ingredients on top of the noodles.

Toss gently until combined and the cheese is melted.

Pour into a 9” x 13” oven safe casserole dish that you sprayed with cooking oil.

Bake in a preheated 350º oven for 30-35 minutes or until bubbly then serve.

Chicken or pork for me
I’m with you, I put pork from the pork loin I made.
Hi, Diana! You are thinking very forward. You`re sure there will be leftovers from the Thanksgiving celebrations? 😉 However another wonderful idea. Thanks so much, also for the always very helpful instructions, and how it should be served when ready. Please enjoy a wonderful weekend! xx Michael
I actually put the pork I posted last week in this recipe. I had such a big pork loin that I froze it in for more meals. Thank you for your nice comment Michael!
What time should I be there? 🙂 Looks delicious and easy!
I definitely had plenty for you both! Thank you Betty.
Looks very satisfying, Diane! You must have a busy week of cooking ahead for Thanksgiving. Hope you have a wonderful holiday with your loved ones!
Thank you Ab! I always look forward to Thanksgiving because my son always has the family over, we just have the drive. I am making a pumpkin pie and an Oreo dessert (if it turns out).
Sounds like the best arrangement. Enjoy the family, being cooked for and the desserts!
Thank you Ab!
Oh, those noodle casseroles!
Thank you Dorothy, casseroles are the best!
Yes, a perfect way to stretch those Thanksgiving leftovers … that’s some forward thinking on your part Diane. 🙂
Thank you Linda, I think this is the one you thought went to spam.
I thought I left a comment, then thought I might be losin’ it. 🙂
Looks delicious and so versatile!
It turned out great, especially as leftovers. Thank you Linda.
Yum
Thank you Eunice!
Just fed my sourdough now to see what I can whip up with my unfed mix 🙂
I stopped feeding my sourdough. I figured I can always start another one. My husband can’t eat bread anymore and I didn’t need the extra calories.
I can not eat reg. bread but this is good for the gut so I want to keep her happy until it is gone with present diet 🙂
Hmm – I must’ve gone to SPAM, but this is great to feature just in time for all the holiday leftovers!
Right Linda and everyone wants to use the leftover turkey in a recipe to use it up. This was a stick to your ribs casserole.
Those are the best kind. 🙂
Another recipe I need to try!
It is just as good as leftovers.
Looks absolutely delicious! I love how comforting and hearty it seems, perfect for a cozy family dinner.
Thank you, casseroles are my favorite because one dish in the oven and I’m done.
This looks really delicious, Diane. As you mentioned, this dish has everything in that one would like … but it’s the cheese that do it for me 😊.
This was very cheesy and even better the next day. Thank you!
