Slow Cooker Pork Loin Recipe

Pork Loins are a lean, tender and juicy cut of meat as long as you don’t overcook it. It is the perfect meat for Thanksgiving if you don’t care for turkey or need extra meat. Don’t confuse Pork Loin with Pork Tenderloin as they are two different cuts of pork.

Place the sliced onion on the bottom of the slow cooker.

Lay the pork loin on top of the onions, fat side up.

Sprinkle the dry ingredients over the top and sides of the pork loin.

Pour the water into the slow cooker then add pats of butter on the top of the pork loin.

Cook on low for 3-4 hours or just until the center is at least 145º but not much higher. Check it frequently after 3 hours so you don’t overcook the pork loin and dry it out. Remove from the slow cooker and place on a platter. Let it rest for 10 minutes, slice and serve.

Delicious!! Have you tried stuffed pork loin?
I have not, only stuffed pork chops. Thank you Randy!
I would prefer this to turkey
I agree, we aren’t crazy for turkey. My son has us every year and he brines it overnight and then smokes it. His is the only turkey I like.
Nice one, looks so tasty!
It was delicious and super moist. Thank you Paul!

Do the prep work and forget about it and then enjoy the family on Thanksgiving! Well, okay, if you must have the turkey too.
It would be perfect for company and so easy.
Sounds like a great thing to cook and have on hand for other recipes.
I love making a meal out of leftovers. Thank you Linda.
I can just tell from your photos how juicy this piece of meat was! Yummy!!
OMG Corna, it was the juiciest pork I have ever had or prepared. It makes a lot so we had it sliced for a meal, in the pasta recipe I posted today and I froze the rest.
