It’s Friday What’s For Dinner 12-22-23

Anyone that makes a homemade dinner is welcome to type the name of one recipe that you prepared, in the comments, then we can all scroll through the comments for recipe ideas. This will be a weekly Friday post and only recipes on the Friday posts will be allowed.

If someone wants your recipe and asks, there will be no pressure to share it, it’s up to you. I will accept links, but only to the recipe and NO VIDEO. It may take me a day to approve it so I can make sure the link is legitimate and not spam.

NO SPAM OR VIDEOS WILL BE ALLOWED, ONLY RECIPES OR YOU WILL BE BLOCKED.

I find the hardest part of making dinner isn’t the process, but figuring out what to make. So go ahead and post ONE RECIPE ONLY EACH FRIDAY in the comments or feel free to just read what others have made. Either way, I hope we all get some great ideas to make our meal planning easier.

    • What shocked me was how well the grandkids loved it. Heck put pizza sauce on anything, call it pizza and they love it! 🤣 But seriously, it tasted amazing. Thank you Derrick 🌲

  1. Pizza and meatloaf combo. This is what makes you…THE GODDESS!
Today we are meeting friends for lunch. So dinner will probably be coffee and a slice of cake. But Sunday…Christmas Eve is the Feast of the Seven Fishes. So, clams, mussels, oysters, shrimp, calamari, scallops, salmon. Possibly a bit of crab also. Take it all, except the salmon and put it into a pot of gravy. Add some fresh linguini and you are in gastronomic heaven. Wash it down with…guess.
Merry Christmas to you and your family. God Bless all of you. So glad I found you.

    • What time is the Seven Fishes dinner? That sounds amazing JC. I was thinking of you today while watching Luxury Lake Homes for sale and one had a wine cellar room for 500 bottles of wine that was temperature controlled! I thought that would be perfect for you two. I’m glad you found me too and Merry Christmas to you and your family JC.

  2. Sounds great. I’ve used a “Festive”meatloaf recipe for years with sauted bell peppers and onions included and cheddar cheese. Then a few weeks ago, I tried Italian seasoning, parmesran, and pesto sauce in my meatloaf and it was my favorite so far. I use oats rather than cracker crumbs and used to add grated carrots to sneak in veggies. Meat loaf is so versatile.

    Merry Christmas!
