Snickerdoodle’s

Snickerdoodle Cookies are an irresistible classic soft cookie. The dough is rolled into a ball, rolled in a cinnamon sugar mixture and baked. Snickerdoodle’s freeze well in case you want to make them ahead of time like I do.

I simply love them 😋😋
They are so addicting, that’s why I like to keep them in the freezer.
Yummy 😋
Thank you Randy 🌲
Your welcome
I recently made a huge batch of these, only I made them with REAL Maine maple syrup. They came out fabulous!
Interesting, did you use that in place of sugar? Didn’t they mix up too wet to roll into a ball? Love to see your recipe and how lucky you are to have access to Maine syrup!
Nope! I used regular granulated sugar, too. And nope, the consistency was perfect to roll them into cookie balls.
Awesome!
I know you asked for the recipe. I have it memorized, so it only exists in my head! I will write it down and share it with you. 😀
Thank you so much and Merry Christmas!
Ohh, those look good, will have to give those a try. I’ve only tried making cookies.a few times with mixed results, it’s not something we really know much of in the UK. Will give you recipe a try. 🙂
Thank you Paul! If you don’t make many cookies in the UK what do you have for a sweet snack at home? I would love to come there and open a cookie store just to see how it would do.
Yeah, cookies are really only usually see in supermarket here in UK. I tend to make shortbread, cheese straws are another favourite in our house as well. 🙂
How interesting Paul.
Love anything with cinnamon
Me too!
I love the name and these look so good. Something about this time of the year that makes me especially enjoy the sugar cinnamon juxtaposition!
How clever you are sneaking in a word for me to look up and learn. 😉
I love the name of that cookie ! It’s cute and makes people want to make them haha
It is a cute name, I never thought about that. Lol
One of the family’s favorites!
A cookie like no other Dorothy.
I still remember the first time I had a snickerdoodle. It’s a great cookie for Christmas.
That’s funny, that is the only time I make them too Linda, for Christmas.
Goodness in every bite!
No other cookie tastes like snickerdoodles, thank you Mary.
Just when I think I’ve seen all your best Christmas cookie recipes this year, along comes your Snickerdoodle’s which is my absolute favourite!
Mine too!
The smell of cinnamon in the kitchen – that would stir up a few memories. It makes me remember how good hot buttered toast with cinnamon and brown sugar sprinkled on it was. It’s been years for having that treat too.
We ate cinnamon toast all the time as a child too. I actually taught my kids how to make that when then were young. I had an old boy shaker that I think came with a cinnamon sugar in it. I kept it and just made my own and refilled the boy.
I loved cinnamon toast and it smelled so good too – now your kids are showing their kids how to make cinnamon toast. I had a shaker too, but it was small and yellow, maybe a shaker from Domino who made sugar.
Always a favorite!
It’s funny because it seems like it is the woman that really love them. All the men grab the chocolate cookies. 🤣
