Oh, that looks really tasty Diane! I love seeing how many different ways you prepare chicken.
Here’s a typical South African joke: Chicken is actually a vegetable! Apparently, we like meat so much, that we have our red meat as a main dish and then serve chicken as a vegetable on the side 😁.
Hahaha love that Corna! Thank you my friend!
yummm
Thank you Beth 💕
This looks a great, tasty dish. 🙂
Thank you Paul 🥰
My stomach began to growl just looking at this wonderful image…
Thank you for your kind words! 🥰
I often have leftover chicken so may well use this recipe for my OH
Awesome Sheree, we really like it.
😎
I’ve printed this one out. Thanks, Diane, you have definitely improved my meal rotation with all your recipes.
I really needed to hear that GP, thank you!
Looks delicious, Diane. It’s Canadian Thanksgiving this weekend so I can see this working with Turkey and stuffing too! Thanks for the inspiration.
Thank you Ab and Happy Thanksgiving!
Looks like a family pleaser!
It sure is but my family loves casseroles, thank you Dorothy.
I wonder why it has “Normandy” in the title? It sounds delicious and probably would be welcome at a potluck.
I was surprised it didn’t have apples or apple cider in the recipe, no idea why she put Normandy in the title Linda but it is very good.
Well that is a unique dish to make ahead of time like that. It looks delicious.
Thank you Linda. It is a great meal for me because I can make it gradually then bake it the next day, no rushing or killing myself.
I though the preparation for it was interesting. You need more meals like that Diane!
I’m trying, today I put a roast in the slow cooker and Terry made sheet pan carrots, potatoes and onions in the oven. I can usually manage a casserole but he usually helps with the sides when I cook meat.
The slow cooker at least frees you up to make a big meal without having to mess with it in the oven, lifting it in/out, etc. Terry is a blessing for you (and your grandson too)!
Yes they sure are Linda 🥰
Don’t I know it Linda!
This looks yummy and I like that it can be made ahead and refrigerated. I’ll bet it would be a great day after Thanksgiving recipe with leftover turkey.
Yes it would! I won’t be cooking this year and I told everyone we will have to go out to eat instead. I won’t miss the work or mess but you can’t get that wonderful homemade food at a restaurant, it’s just not the same and no leftovers! 😩 But at least we will all be together and that’s what holidays are about.
Diane, I am sorry to learn about your chronic pain. It is hard to give up a cherished tradition. Take good care of yourself.
Thank you Bernadette 🥰
Yum
Thank you my friend!
