Air Fryer Poached Eggs

Poached eggs in the air fryer, of course! All you need is a ramekin, coffee mug or a silicone muffin cup and a few minutes to cook. The best part is there is no clean up in the air fryer.

Lightly spray your ramekins or coffee mugs with cooking oil or brush with oil. (I sprayed a little too much.)

Place one egg in each ramekin or coffee mug.

Add two Tbsp. water on top of each egg.

Preheat air fryer to 370º for 3 minutes. Place ramekin into the air fryer for 4-10 minutes depending on the size of your ramekin and how you like your eggs cooked. After 4 minutes I checked mine every minute until it was how I wanted my eggs cooked.

Remove eggs with a slotted spoon and allow excess liquid to drain. Place on a serving plate, salt and pepper to taste then serve.
Now … how easy is that! After many years, I finally mastered making a poached egg on the stove. But this looks so much easier!
I agree! I always make mine on the stove too until I tried this.
What a good idea!
Thank you Sheree
Now why didn’t I think of this? 😆 I’ll have to tell my kids. They love to cook and love eggs, but they don’t love to clean up. This would be a much better option for them!
Oh yes, cleanup was the ramekins! Thank you!
Never thought of this Diane! So perfect looking.
Thank you so much Dorothy!
pretty cool Diane
I really didn’t think it would work, so glad it did. Thank you Kev!
You are so amazing! A perfect mind for food and friends.
Awe thank you JC!
I like no clean up for the air fryer! I can stick the ramekin or cups in the dishwasher!
Yes! That was the best part. Thank you Betty. 💕
This sounds like a super easy recipe, but I still need to get an air fryer. Thanks, Diane!
Hahaha That will definitely make it easier!
I will have to try it. I absolutely love my Air Fryer and use it at least once a week – just tonight actually. 🤗
My husband read the Instant Pot’s on its way out due to the fact the AF is taking over. The company is losing money with it.
I saw the Instant Pot news too. Very sad!
Wowww
Thanks!
Brilliant. Will have to try this
Thank you and enjoy!
I must try this!
It took very little effort, however, I will cook mine for less time next time. My yolk got too done, trial and error until I get the perfect time for my air fryer.
Is there anything the air fryer can’t do? Wow, I am very impressed.
I know, it’s just a matter of figuring out how to and how long to cook everything.
You are an expert as you try it for so many things!
Hahaha I’ve never been called an expert at anything! Thank you
Well, you should have been!
💕
What a great idea, Diane. I have two ramekins so this will be easy. They would make great breakfast egg and cheese English muffins too.
Ohhhhhh! I love Egg McMuffins! I never even thought about that Carla, thank you!
My pleasure to give you an idea for a change, Diane.
Looks like an instant pot to me,not an air fryer ?
It is in the Ninja Foodi and FYI, my husband read the Instant Pots are being discontinued as the air fryers are putting them out of business.
I love the convenience of air fryers and I have cooked eggs but not poached. Thanks for this post.
You’re welcome!
