Tender Slow Cooker Round Steak

Round Steak so tender you can cut it with a spoon. Cooking Round Steak this way in a slow cooker also makes a delicious sauce that can be drizzled over mashed potatoes or rice.

This looks delicious. You can do so much with steak like this as well and make so many tasty meals with it.
You are spot on Paul, thank you!
Oh that looks so sumptuous. I can taste the tenderness from the photos!
Thank you Ab.
I haven’t thought of this in so long, my mom used to make something like this for us
I love this because all I have to do is make mashed potatoes and a veggie and I’m done. I remember my mom making round steak with gravy a lot when I was a child but she baked hers.
How do you make everything look so good? This is amazing!
Thank you, I try but some times the food tastes great but getting a good picture is tough. I appreciate your kindness JC!
Thank you for reblogging! 🥰
Slow cookers are great for tender meat.
I use mine all the the time Carl.
Oh wow. Cutting with a spoon?! … I need a slow cooker. Also sold on it making its own sauce. Those meat sauces are always the best.
Right! When it’s done cooking just whip up your sides and it’s time to eat!
I can not pass up one of your posts without my mouth watering! You are amazing. This looks tender and delicious. Hope you are feeling better my friend. Hugs, C
Thank you so much Cheryl! Sorry I am so behind on my comments but finally getting caught up.
What did you serve with it?
Mashed potatoes and corn
We love steak and are always looking for new ways to cook it (besides to ‘braai’ it 😉). Since we don’t have a slow cooker, I’m sure your recipe could also work in the oven (for an extended period of time), right?
Hmmmm, I must admit I never tried it. I find when I cook a cheaper cut of meat in the oven it is usually tough. Also it would be a lot of electricity/gas to cook it that long. I would be more efficient to do it on the stovetop low and slow with a lid. I hope this helps.
Thanks for the tip Diane. I also thought it would be better on the stovetop … will give it a try!
Let me know how it turns out!
I think this was the recipe, or a similar one, that swayed me to buy the crockpot (not that I have made it yet mind you, but one day I will) – it looks very tender and delicious.
It may have been, it is so tender and delicious Linda. Thank you💕
