Diane, I would never buy store bought frosting! That looks scrumptious.
I used to buy the canned frosting all the time Sheree. Then it kept disappearing so I made it from then on. About a year ago my daughter told me she used to sneak in the pantry and take the can and hide it under her bed so she could eat it. 🤣

Old time favorite from the back of a Hershey’s Cocoa box. I just bought some cocoa so I would have it for the holidays. I read that chocolate will be expensive and hard to find this year because of a bad crop. I expect many cooks will be scratch cooking and baking because of inflation this year so it is a good idea to plan ahead for the holidays.
I bought a Hershey cookbook and there are many of their treasured recipes in it. Let’s hope chocolate doesn’t skyrocket or get hard to find.

Hahaha Have you ever had frosting on saltine crackers? When I was a child my friends mom always called us in when she made something with frosting and had some leftover. She frosted the saltines and put them on a plate for us to eat, I still like it today!
