Slow Cooker Coke Round Steak

This tender Round Steak is made in the Slow Cooker and it makes enough gravy to serve over the meat. The Coke gives this round steak and gravy a very unique flavor.

In the slow cooker, combine the cream
of mushroom soup and dry onion soup.
Whisk in the coke until combined.

Place the round steak pieces into the
soup mixture then turn them over,
coating the other side.

Move the steak pieces under the soup
mixture so they are completely covered.

Cook on low for 6-8 hours then serve.

Looks delish! Gravy… yum!!
Thank you we ate it all! Lol
I always wonder who discovers these unique combinations – Coke? Very interesting….🤔
Right! Who ever thought to use Coke in cooking. I think the acid in the pop helps to break down the meat like a tenderizer and it adds flavor.
Thank you for reblogging my recipe.❤️
That looks so delicious. I love that it’s bathing in all that gravy. Perfect with a bed of warm rice!
I’ve cooked a ham in coke and it was delicious but I never thought of using it with any other meat.
I have done chicken and beef but never ham. Lol
I presume the Coke adds flavor and acts as a tenderizer? Very interesting!
Yes and a hint of sweetness. Thanks!
