Slow Cooker Chicken Thighs with Coke Gravy

Chicken and Gravy over noodles, what a wonderful comfort food that takes only a few minutes to prepare and then you cook it in the slow cooker. The Coke gives it a hint of sweetness that adds even more flavor to your seasoned cream of chicken soup.

Place the soup and dry Italian salad
dressing mix into the slow cooker
then stir well to combine.

Slowly add the Coke, stirring
until completely combined.

Place skinless, boneless chicken thighs
into the slow cooker turning to coat all
sides. Make sure the chicken is covered
with the soup. I didn’t have enough
chicken thighs so I threw in a bunch
of legs too. Cook on low for 6 hours
or until the chicken is at least 165º.

Remove the chicken and keep warm.
Toss the cooked noodles into the
gravy and allow to cook for about
10 minutes or until the noodles
absorb some of the gravy.

Add noodles and chicken
to a plate then serve.

Awe thank you! My granddaughter asked if she could have a frozen pizza Sunday. I said no I am making mock chicken. She asked why can’t she have frozen pizza (they eat pizza about 3 days a week at home). I said because when you come to grandma’s house you are going to eat a good home cooked meal. I know when she gets older she will always remember this. She cleaned her plate…again. Lol

I may have mentioned before that chicken thighs are one of my favourite meats to cook with. So juicy and flavorful. Using Coke as an ingredient sounds wonderful!

It was a nice change of taste. I especially liked the noodles with it. My husband liked the chicken but not the noodles with it. So I had leftover noodles for lunch and they were even better the next day, all the gravy soaked into them. Thank you❤️

Oh my! What is it about a can of Co-Cola that makes everything better? I have also seen it used in Texas brownies.

Fascinating I have never heard of that one. I used it with round steak in the slow cooker too but I still need to post it.

What??? You can’t get chicken where you are? We never really had a shortage but they did limit it during the bad months of the pandemic.
