Slow Cooker Chicken Thighs with Coke Gravy

Chicken and Gravy over noodles, what a wonderful comfort food that takes only a few minutes to prepare and then you cook it in the slow cooker. The Coke gives it a hint of sweetness that adds even more flavor to your seasoned cream of chicken soup.

Place the soup and dry Italian salad
dressing mix into the slow cooker
then stir well to combine.

Slowly add the Coke, stirring
until completely combined.

Place skinless, boneless chicken thighs
into the slow cooker turning to coat all
sides. Make sure the chicken is covered
with the soup. I didn’t have enough
chicken thighs so I threw in a bunch
of legs too. Cook on low for 6 hours
or until the chicken is at least 165º.

Remove the chicken and keep warm.
Toss the cooked noodles into the
gravy and allow to cook for about
10 minutes or until the noodles
absorb some of the gravy.

Add noodles and chicken
to a plate then serve.

looks like a nice comfort dish
It really was and the noodles were even better the next day. Thank you💕
☀️😊
This is a delicious option for a weeknight meal from the crockpot. A set and go! Thanks for sharing,
I love slow cooker meals, not only are they easy but the food always tastes so good. Thank you Velva!
Another winning entry here. You must have the best smelling kitchen in the state!
Awe thank you! My granddaughter asked if she could have a frozen pizza Sunday. I said no I am making mock chicken. She asked why can’t she have frozen pizza (they eat pizza about 3 days a week at home). I said because when you come to grandma’s house you are going to eat a good home cooked meal. I know when she gets older she will always remember this. She cleaned her plate…again. Lol
I may have mentioned before that chicken thighs are one of my favourite meats to cook with. So juicy and flavorful. Using Coke as an ingredient sounds wonderful!
It was a nice change of taste. I especially liked the noodles with it. My husband liked the chicken but not the noodles with it. So I had leftover noodles for lunch and they were even better the next day, all the gravy soaked into them. Thank you❤️
Oh my! What is it about a can of Co-Cola that makes everything better? I have also seen it used in Texas brownies.
Fascinating I have never heard of that one. I used it with round steak in the slow cooker too but I still need to post it.
We’re both thinking ‘chicken’ today. That looks amazing! I’m making what I call Hawaiian Chicken.
I would love that, I’m guessing it is with pineapple?
Such a delicious meal. Great recipe, Diane.
Thank you!
Most welcome, Diane
This sounds delicious! Pinned so I can try it when my grocery store gets chicken back in stock.
What??? You can’t get chicken where you are? We never really had a shortage but they did limit it during the bad months of the pandemic.
So easy, and the plate is amazing too!
Awe thank you Dorothy!💕
Not sure what an Italian would say to this but I love the idea.
Hahaha I was really skeptical the first time I made it, I even have a round steak with Coke recipe to post. Thank you Barb!
Yummy!!
Thank you so much!💕
It looks amazing! I’m going to try it!
Enjoy it has a different flavor than any other chicken recipes I have tried. It was nice to have something different and great tasting.
This looks like the perfect plate of comfort food!
You can’t go wrong with chicken, noodles and gravy. Thank you!
I just took out some chicken thighs, so this might be dinner tomorrow. I will let you know if I try it, Diane.
Please do and I hope you enjoy it. The Coke gives it a hint of sweet which is a nice change from what we usually have.
That’s an interesting combo, sticking a little coke in the gravy. 🙂
It really is but it also makes the chicken so good. I will be posting a round steak recipe with Coke too.
So good❤️
Thank you!
Have to try this. Intriguing!
That was the reason I tried it too. I will be posting another Coke recipe soon.
Mmmmm 😋
Thank you Saania.

It really is isn’t it, I had to try it. Lol
I just bookmarked this page, because I’m trying this soon. I know it will be dee-lish!
I really liked it, even more the next day when all the liquid soaked in. Enjoy 💕
Diane, we just tried this for dinner tonight, and it was DEE-LISH! Thanks for sharing the recipe. (You made me look like a hero.)
Yeah!!!! It was nice to have a different taste with chicken for a change. Thanks for telling me.❤️
