We had all three grandkids spend the weekend with us and trying to find something everyone likes is a challenge for a 1, 5 and 9 year old. However, this dish did the trick! With four layers of cheese, pasta, ground beef and spaghetti sauce it was guaranteed to please everyone and it did.

    • I agree Mitzy! Everyone tells me I am nuts and it’s too much at my age…really!!!! I love when adults talk about their grandparents memories and I can only hope we have impacted their lives in a positive way and in a way that they will never forget us. You and I think a lot a like.❤️

  16. All that cheese loveliness makes me drool at this late hour Diane. Bread and cheese – my favorite items. (Well cookies too but I try not to buy them and don’t bake them.)

      • Well thank you for saying that Diane, but if I smelled all these wonderful treats you make and show us, my willpower would go right out the door! We always had cookies at home. My mom didn’t have a sweet tooth but I did. So Mom baked and cookies were always around. Before my boss and I left the Firm and moved out on our own, we were in an office building where there was a small bakery on the first floor of our building. They were smart. They made small chocolate chip cookies every morning the same time most people would be arriving in the building. They didn’t sell coffee, just croissants and cookies at that time of the day. People would stop at Starbucks (also in the building), then head over for a small open bag (the same size as a MacDonald’s small fry bag) with three chocolate chip cookies in it. I think it was $0.50, but hot and fresh – to die for. You smelled them all over the building. Had to go buy some even though I always had breakfast before I left for work.
