Cast Iron Skillet Cornbread
Whether you make Cornbread in a Cast Iron Pan, bread pan or a regular cupcake pan they are delicious! I created this cornbread recipe using Greek yogurt and it is so moist! As you can see they turn out perfect no matter which cast iron pan I used.

That looks delicious! The last time I made cornbread for a group I added a can of whole kernel corn and a cup of grated cheddar cheese. I go a pretty good response to it. My stepmother used to make Mexican Spoon Bread and it had those ingredients in it.

Great minds think alike..lol Check out this post. I cheated and used Jiffy mix. I didn’t use cheese though, I will have to give it a try next time. Thanks for a new idea! https://indianeskitchen.com/2017/05/23/corn-casserolebread

Corn bread is such an amazing side (or meal 🙂 🙂 ). Definitely best in a cast iron skillet. Great job Diane!

What’s lacking here?… some chili? A soup of some kind?

I use my cast iron frying pan at least several times a week. It belonged to my grandmother, and then my mom, and someday will go to my daughter. These are not only wonderful cooking vessels, but great carriers of family memories!
