So simple! Secret is stirring frequently so it doesn’t burn but turns out perfectly! Happy New Year!

My mom had a series of books called “Hints from Heloise” … there were kitchen helpers, cleaning helpers and all these little tips how to make something if you didn’t have it … that was before “hacks” became the thing. You will be a godsend to someone who needs it in a recipe in a hurry on a cold and snowy day. 🙂

I used to love the daily Hints From Heloise in our newspaper. They ran it for years! She was like the Google before Google existed!

You’re right Diane and my mom was always tearing things out of the newspaper and had a clipping file – then she advertised her books and she got the entire set. They are spiral bound and she has things jotted down inside the cover as well. It is hard to think of life before Google isn’t it?
