Chocolate Chip Banana Bars

These Chocolate Chip Banana Bars taste even better than they look! The wonderful moist banana cake is full of small bits of banana, mini milk chocolate chips and topped with even more mini chocolate chips for a wonderful combination!

Ingredients

 

Using a fork, crush the ripe bananas until

creamy. Place them into a medium bowl.

 

In a small bowl mix the dry ingredients.

 

Add the dry ingredients to

the banana’s and mix well.

Stir in one cup of the mini

milk chocolate chips.

Spread onto a 15” x 10.5” baking sheet

that is sprayed with cooking spray.

Sprinkle 1/2 cup of the mini milk

chocolate chips over the top.

Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven

for 18-24 minutes. Cut into 24 bars and

serve. Cover leftovers with plastic wrap

or store in an airtight container.

Ingredients

  • 5-6 very ripe banana’s (1-2/3 cups)
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1-3/4 cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup mini milk chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup mini milk chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Spray a 15” x 10.5” baking sheet with cooking spray.
  3. In a medium bowl, using a fork, mash the peeled banana’s. Stir in the brown sugar, oil, milk and eggs until combined.
  4. In a small bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Add it to the banana mixture and stir until combined. Fold in one cup of chocolate chips.
  5. Spread the batter into the prepared pan and sprinkle the top with 1/2 cup of chocolate chips.
  6. Bake for 18-22 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Cool in the pan completely. Cut into 24 bars and keep covered.
