Slow Cooker Chicken and Noodles
Who doesn’t love Chicken and Noodles? To make it even better I cook it in the slow cooker! This is comfort food at it’s best with a complete meal in one pot.
I use Reames frozen noodles with this recipe because they are more like homemade noodles. If you don’t want to use frozen noodles, cook regular noodles on the stove and mix them in just before serving.

Ingredients
- 4 boneless chicken breasts, fat trimmed off
- 1/4 tsp each: garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper and Italian seasoning
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup butter (1 stick) cut into pieces
- 2 – 14.5 oz cans chicken broth
- 24 oz frozen egg noodles (or 16 oz dry noodles)
- 8 oz frozen peas & carrots
Directions
- Place the chicken in the slow cooker. Sprinkle the seasonings over the chicken. Place butter pieces on top of the chicken.
- In a bowl, mix the soup and the chicken broth until smooth and creamy. Pour soup mixture over the chicken.
- Cook on low for 6 hours. Remove the chicken and shred. Place the chicken back into the slow cooker. Add noodles, peas & carrots. Cook on low with the lid, stirring twice, for one hour or until the noodles are done.
