Tortilla Chips

How many times do you have left over tortillas and just throw them out? I decided to turn mine into seasoned Tortilla Chips and were they yummy! Not to mention we had them with Chi-Chi’s Medium Salsa, our favorite. They were so good warm, right out of the oven, and the perfect snack. You can add any spices you would like or just leave them plain.

Ingredients

6 – 6″ corn tortilla

olive oil

spices of your choice, optional

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Brush tortillas with olive oil on both sides. Lay tortillas on top of each other and cut into 4 even pieces. I used kitchen scissors and they worked great. Place the tortilla pieces on a baking sheet, lightly sprayed with cooking oil, so they are not touching. Sprinkle with your favorite seasoning, salt or leave them plain. Bake for 10 minutes or until lightly brown and crispy. Serve warm with your favorite salsa.                  http://www.InDianesKitchen.com
