We used to go to The Greenwood Dairy for an ice cream Sunday. It was so big that if you ate it all they gave you a pin that said “I was a pig at the Greenwood Dairy”. Imagine, this used to be badge of honor😂
That is hilarious Bernadette! It would be fun watching people try. My husband would definitely be able to do it. He takes a spoonful and swallows it without even tasting it. He eats it so fast that he looks at mine and always says (joking of course) “Do you need help eating that?” 🤣

Ohio has one with alcohol sales on Sundays. They need a special permit and can’t sell before 1:00 pm.

We always had ice cream in the house when the grandkids were here all the time. Now they are happy with a drumstick or ice cream bar, not me I will take a hot fudge sundae anytime!
I haven’t had a hot fudge sundae in many years. In high school there were six of us who hung around together and when two of them got their licenses while still in school, their parents let them borrow the car, so we used to go to Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlor, which was so fun, all old-fashioned ice cream treats with vintage names, like “Matinee Idol” (strawberry sundae), “Gibson Girl” (butterscotch sundae) or “Tin Roof” (my favorite … chocolate sundae with tons of peanuts. We went many times to that place and they had ragtime music, very fun.
