Easy Crazy Crust Cherry Pie

How did I make this Crazy Crust Cherry Pie when my kitchen is being remodeled you ask? You will have to wait until Friday to see how but meanwhile, check out my step by step directions with pictures and a printable recipe card by clicking HERE.

GREAT NEWS ON THE KITCHEN REMODEL!!!!

After torturing the people that sold me the cabinets almost daily, she emailed me today that my replacement cabinets should be here the first week of July!

Also we picked up our marble backsplash and every piece was perfect and the color is exactly what I wanted. Things are looking up!

  1. The pie looks delicious and can’t wait to learn more. I bet it involved the air fryer!

And congrats on the cabinet. Tenacity pays off!

  2. This pie looks delicious … and the icing over the top just makes it look a little more fancy! Oh, and very good news on your kitchen! Sometimes one just has to sit back and hope for the best!

  3. Yay! It’s frustrating to deal with things like that, but I’m happy for you that it is all coming together. I just know it will be beautiful!

    • Thank you I will be happy when the cabinets get here and have no damage. I am getting exciting again. Counter people called me today, we are still on for the 27th install date and they will come back to install the island counter at a later date.

      • Well progress is picking up, so that is something to cheer about, so that’s why you made the cherry pie … to celebrate!

    • I have a gigantic cherry tree that I planted about 30 years ago. I had ordered it from a catalog as a dwarf. 🤣 I have been eating from the lower branches as I could never get up into this tree. Food for the birds.

      • I stopped believing the tags on potted bushes and trees along time ago. I bought a similar dwarf plum tree 25 years ago that is towering to about 11-12 feet now. My cherries are a Lambert and Bing. What variety is yours?

      • I have no idea but it is a sweet cherry. They are very small cherries so only good to eat, not cook with. I never sprayed it or did anything to it because it just got too big. Bing is my absolute favorite cherry! One year I was so furious. I used to can all my tomatoes and one year I went to our top nursery and bought all my plants. We planted them and a few weeks later the flowers came. They were all cherry tomatoes! By this time it was too late to find or plant new tomato plants and my canning was ruined. My husband started plants by seeds the next year.
