Easter Bird Nest Candy Eggs

Chow Mein Noodles, milk chocolate and peanut butter dropped into a bird’s nest shape and topped with candy eggs makes this the perfect treat for Easter. The crunchy chow mein noodles with the sweetness of the chocolate and peanut butter flavor was SO GOOD!

      • Yes they were – we would make them and load them with jelly beans, then wrap them for work; we didn’t use peanut butter though – I think I’d prefer the peanut butter. We used marshmallow creme (I think) (I know it was not peanut butter, but it was gooey.)

      • You’re younger than me Diane, but when I was about 10-11, Fluffernutters were big. Peanut butter and marshmallow creme spread on top. I liked it on toast. I ate it for a few years every time we had toast (I liked that combo on toast more than bread) and then stopped. A few years ago I bought a jar of it thinking I’d relive that “joy” and found it really, really sweet.

  1. I made these last year when you posted and the kids loved them. I also did them with rice krispie squares and made them into nests for the kids at church. I won’t be home for Easter this year.
