Easter Bird Nest Candy Eggs

Chow Mein Noodles, milk chocolate and peanut butter dropped into a bird’s nest shape and topped with candy eggs makes this the perfect treat for Easter. The crunchy chow mein noodles with the sweetness of the chocolate and peanut butter flavor was SO GOOD!

Interesting idea but it’s still too early for Easter treats Diane
Haha Grandkids were here so I have to make it fun. Coloring eggs next weekend for fun.
Okay, then wholly understandable
These look lovely, the kids will love these for Easter!
Thank you, they are pretty tasty.
Creative!
Thank you GP!
You are the smartest person I know. This is truly genius!
Thank you JC! They have been around for years, I can’t take credit but you sure are good for my ego! 🥰
Oh those look good!
Thank you sweet lady!
Oh, my goodness, Diane. I’m going to have to do this with my grandson! Thank you for sharing!
You’re re welcome and have fun!
Well, I guess we’d better start thinking of Easter!
Yes! It’s not far away.
These always bring back fond memories of my mom and me making these to pass out for the staff at work. They are so cute.
Thank you Linda they are so much fun to make.
Yes they were – we would make them and load them with jelly beans, then wrap them for work; we didn’t use peanut butter though – I think I’d prefer the peanut butter. We used marshmallow creme (I think) (I know it was not peanut butter, but it was gooey.)
I’m sure it was still good! Marshmallow crème has been around for a long time.
You’re younger than me Diane, but when I was about 10-11, Fluffernutters were big. Peanut butter and marshmallow creme spread on top. I liked it on toast. I ate it for a few years every time we had toast (I liked that combo on toast more than bread) and then stopped. A few years ago I bought a jar of it thinking I’d relive that “joy” and found it really, really sweet.
I never heard of that Linda but it’s funny how things don’t taste like they did when we were kids.
Yes, I’m not a picky eater at all, but wow … very sweet!
I made these last year when you posted and the kids loved them. I also did them with rice krispie squares and made them into nests for the kids at church. I won’t be home for Easter this year.
I love the Rice Krispie idea Carla! I won’t be able to celebrate Easter this year with family due to medical reasons, maybe next year!
I hope you are okay, Diane. I will still be in Florida because Easter is early this year. I told my grandkids that we will celebrate a second Easter when I get home.
Awe you are such a good grandma!
What a creative idea, Diane. I can’t believe another Easter is around the corner!
Thank you Ab, time just flies!
Those are really cute and sound delicious!
Thank you Susan!
Clever and sweet! <3
Thank you!
I haven’t made these in years, but thanks for bringing them to my attention! I do need to create some for my family in the near future!
You’re welcome, Easter will be here before we know it!
