Chili Cheese Dog Casserole

I love a good Chili Dog and this was SO GOOD! There is never a right way or wrong way to make any of your favorite foods. I even used cheese sticks and pizza dough in this recipe, the sky’s the limit!

Spread the chili into a 9” x 13” casserole dish.

Divide the pizza dough into 6 equal pieces.

Wrap one piece of dough around each hot dog, leaving the ends uncovered.

Place hot dogs on top of the chili with a cheese stick on each side of the dough.

Melt butter with chives in the microwave.

Brush butter and chives on top of the dough.

Bake in a preheated 375º oven for 30 minutes or until the dough is golden brown, then serve!

This certainly seems doable. You could even use your own chili.

Yes as long as it is very thick or it will make the pizza dough soggy. This wasn’t soggy at all.

I do something very similar and it’s one of my favorite go-to recipes! The only thing I do differently is use tater tots instead of dough. Yours looks amazing!

This sounds SO delicious. I’ve got some chicken in the slow cooker for dinner tonight, but I’m really tempted to save it so we can have this casserole!
