Easy Air Fryer Chicken Legs

These Easy Air Fryer Chicken Legs were delicious, moist and they are healthier than breaded chicken.

Spray the air fryer basket with cooking
oil. Preheat at 390º for 5 minutes.

Pat the chicken dry with paper towel.
Place the chicken into a large bowl.
Drizzle with oil and rub it all over
each leg making sure every
part is coated.

Combine the dry ingredients.

Sprinkle the dry ingredients
over the chicken.

Toss the chicken until all the legs are
completely coated. Add them to the
preheated air fryer trying to
keep them apart.

Air fry for 10 minutes then turn them
over and air fry another 5 minutes.
Check the temperature at the thickest
part of each leg. They will be 165º
when they are cooked properly. If
you are cooking smaller legs they
may be cooked through at this time.
Mine were large and they took 20
minutes. After the 15 minutes, if they
are not done, continue cooking and
check every 2 minutes.

- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 tsp. chili powder

Directions
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking oil. Preheat the Air fryer for 5 minutes at 390º.
- Pat the chicken dry with paper towels. Place the chicken into a large bowl.
- Drizzle enough oil over the chicken to coat all of the legs completely.
- In a small bowl, combine the dry ingredients.
- Sprinkle the dry ingredients over the chicken and toss until the chicken is coated evenly.
- Place the chicken into the preheated air fryer, trying to keep them from touching.
- Air fry for 10 minutes then turn them over. Cook another 5 minutes then check the temperature of the thickest part of each drumstick. It needs to be at least 165º. If it is not, continue cooking and checking every 2 minutes. My drumsticks took 20 minutes, it depends how big they are.
- Remove from the air fryer and serve.

You’re giving me great appetite for fried chicken thighs, my friend.😄. Now I need to look out for some and get onto it with this wonderful recipe. 💖💖
They tasted wonderful and are so easy in the air fryer, however, they can be seasoned the same way and baked as well. Thank you ❤️
Oh amazing! Feel most welcome, Diane. 💖
One of these days I will buy an air fryer
It is such a healthy way to cook not to mention everything has tasted so good.
I will have to buy one
Wow, they look delicious!
Thank you Valerie the seasonings turned out so tasty.
Another reason that chicken is a staple here. I will try these, along with everything else you make! Happy Easter, by the way.
Thank you, you always say the nicest things. Happy Easter! ❤️
Chicken drumsticks are so dangerous to me, cuz I could literally go through a whole bucket cuz they’re so bite size individually! Your dry rub mix looks great and the final product looks yum. I really do need to get Santa to give me an Air Fryer.
You can eat extra when they are made in the air fryer! Less calories and healthier. 😂
I was at Costco yesterday (I guess the Sams Club up in Canada?) and saw the Ninja Foodie. I gave Santa a gentle hint.
We actual have Costco too! I hope Santa listens. Lol
This looks fantastic Diane. I just got my air fryer at Christmas and I’ve only made a few things. This looks very doable! Love your spice mix! Yum. Thanks for the inspiration, hugs, C
Thank Cheryl, I was so happy with the taste of the spices.
Going to daughter in laws next week and she has an airfryer..I want to try these!
They were so tasty, I love using my air fryer. Enjoy ❤️
The look delicious and I like the idea of coating them with spices.
The spices made them taste really good and the air fryer left them moist and easy. Thank you so much❤️
I love air fryer chicken cooked any old way –
And this recipe looks easy and Crunchy!
Also – the photo of the dry ingredients look so artsy – nice image Diane
Thank you ❤️
Healthy is the way to go – cooking and otherwise. These look tasty Diane!
I love the air fryer for so many reasons. It is healthier, the meat is so moist, less mess than oil frying and it always seems to cook delicious food. Thanks Linda❤️
Yum 🤤
Thank you they were so delicious.
Guess what? We have made the same chicken last night … just in the oven. A special chicken rub and some lemon juice and it turned into a healthy and delicious meal!
Wait, you cooked in the oven????? Sorry I couldn’t resist that comment. Haha I’m glad it was delicious. 💕
😁 funny Diane!
Thank you for reblogging this recipe. 💕
This is a recipe I am definitely going to try this summer. It will be great to keep the house cool.
I know what you are saying Carla. My A/C can’t keep up once it gets up to about 85 degrees so I refuse to turn on my oven.
