Air Fryer Pineapple Rings

What a delicious dessert or snack with no guilt! Even my husband fell in love with these AIR FRYER PINEAPPLE RINGS. Wait until you read how easy these are to make.

Spray your air fryer rack or pan with cooking oil.

Drain the heavy syrup from
the pineapple can and discard.

Place the pineapple rings on the shelf
or pan, don’t let the pineapple rings
touch each other. Lightly spray the
top of the pineapple rings with
cooking oil.

I have the Ninja Foodi so I used
2 racks to Air Fry mine.

Air Fry at 390º for 8 minutes, turn the
pineapple rings over and continue to
Air Fry until tender and they are brown
on the edges. My top shelf took a total
of 16 minutes and the bottom shelf a
little longer. Watch carefully as all Air
Fryers are different, yours may cook
a longer or shorter time than mine did.

That is an amazing idea! Yum!
Thank you Stacy ❤️
These look so good Diane! When I was a kid, mom always made ham with pineapple rings that got beautifully roasted. I didn’t like the ham, but I loved the rings!
Interesting Dorothy, that is something I would love! I actually had a pizza with ham and pineapple once, it was very good.
Have you tried these with pineapples in lite syrup? Since you specified “in heavy syrup”, I am guessing the sugar is necessary. I wonder if if would work with an artificial sweetener or preferably, nothing added. These do sound delicious. I may have to try them, even in the heavy syrup. Thanks for another recipe to try!
All the recipes I saw on line added sugar and I didn’t want to, so I tried the heavy syrup. My husband thought they were perfect this way, but I thought they were very sweet. Next time I will try the fresh pineapple with nothing added and see how they turn out. I bet the lite syrup would be just fine. I personally wouldn’t add any sweetener as they are sweet enough. For some reason they seem to get sweeter when they are grilled or air fried, we love them on the grill to!
I did not make fried rings. Thanks for the recipe. My grandchildren will be delighted with this novelty.
I sent out a lot of greetings
I bet they will love them! Thank you for all your likes!
Yum yum yum! Looks so easy and another reason for me to ask Santa for an Air Fryer this year.
I’ve tried grilled pineapples at a Brazilian BBQ place a few times. They are delicious and your recipe reminded me of it.
Have you tried sprinkling a bit of cinnamon on top? If not, try it next time. You might be surprised!
I saw where a lot of people put cinnamon and also brown sugar on them. I opted to try them in the heavy syrup then drain and they were so sweet, as is with, no added sugar needed. I want to try them with fresh pineapple next so I will try the cinnamon as I do love cinnamon! Thank you Ab.
The fresh pineapple will taste just heavenly I imagine. You’ll have to post that one too. And good idea re: brown sugar!
Mmm, my mouth is watering now 🙂
They were that good Jacquie. We can’t wait to have them again. Thank you!
That look delicious, Pineapple is one of my favourites!
I was so surprised by how delicious they turned out. Next time I will try fresh pineapple. Thank you Paul!
Lo adoro !! Buonissimo !!!
Thank you Alessia!
Yummy
Thank you prejila.
Definitely making this. With some vanilla gelato everyone will think I am a genius. I will give you credit, my friend.
Enjoy Bernadette, I will be making this again, we absolutely loved it! I want to try it with fresh pineapple too.
That looks delicious and I like pineapple, always from a can – I can’t ever remember bringing a real pineapple into the house. 🙂
We put fresh pineapple on the grill a few years ago and it was fabulous so that’s why I tried the air fryer and I’m so glad I did! Thank you Linda ❤️
Good idea and I just read what you did with the apples as well – they looked fabulous!
Awe thank you! 💕
You know by now … no air fryer in this house. But we love to put fresh pineapple slices on the ‘braai’ … together with ice-cream in this hot weather we are currently experiencing, it’s the perfect dessert!
That is why I tried it in the air fryer, we love it on our grill as well. Thank you!
Great idea, thanks.
You’re welcome and have a great Sunday!
This makes me want to get an air fryer
You won’t be sorry if you do.
