Microwave Peanut Brittle

This is the easiest Microwave Peanut Brittle you will ever make! There is no candy thermometer needed for this delicious Peanut Brittle. I have been making it this way since 1997 and I still can’t believe how easy it is. I found this recipe in a magazine all those years ago so I decided to google it to see who was the creator of this wonderful recipe and it is actually a Kraft recipe!

Thanks for re-sharing this, Diane. I’m going to make this with T over the holidays. His daycare is closed between Christmas Eve and New Year – first time ever (wheee!) – so you’re helping me program his day! 😆🙏
You’re welcome! I used to love that week off from school with my kids. I always scheduled vacation then when I worked.
Ah! Brilliant – I will have to put this on my “Make from Diane’s Recipes” list 🙂
Thank you!
I am terrible with candy recipes except for Kraft fudge. Even I can make that. I’m printing this one out and giving it ultimate test–my candy cooking skills!
I have complete confidence in you! Wrap it good so it won’t dry out after you make it. Not that it lasted very long here to have much time to dry out!
I haven’t made this in years, but using the microwave is the way I did it too 🙂
Well you were ahead of me! I only discovered the microwave way a few years ago.
Oh yummy!! I love peanut brittle … of course, never tried to make it myself before 😊. But in the microwave – it sounds easy enough to give it a try!
So simple in the microwave.
Nice, simple and good, how about adding dried apples and dried berries in place of peanuts ? How would that taste, children may eat it with love, which they otherwise don’t ? I have not tried, I don’t have raw materials!
I’m not sure what the hot candy would do to the dried fruit. This has been a holiday tradition since I was a child, and that’s a long time! Lol I seriously wouldn’t change a thing.
🙂 Surely, I am not asking to change for sure! Keep up the wonderful tastes ! All I was saying you may try new things as well – That is completely ok ! I shall try the dried apple and dried berries puddings, when I red the raw materials and shall share the recipe on my recipe blogs ! Take Care!
Well, the microwave makes it easy and less messy for sure. I’ll bet the grandkids love this!
The grandkids love anything sweet! Hahaha
