Air Fryer Cauliflower is something I did not expect to love because vegetables are not my favorite thing. However, this was the best tasting cauliflower I have ever eaten. I tossed it in a little olive oil and seasonings then I air fried it. We dipped it in my Homemade Sriracha Dip made with my homemade mayonnaise for a little kick. Either way you eat it, plain or dipped, you will love this one! I dedicate this recipe to all of the vegetarians that keep asking me for vegetarian recipes. I know my vegetable recipes are few and far between, so Merry Christmas…lol

Place the prepared cauliflower into the air fryer basket

and fry at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Stir and fry another

5 minutes. Stir and fry one last time for 2-5 minutes depending

on the thickness of your pieces, mine took a total of 20 minutes.

While my cauliflower was frying I made my Homemade Mayonnaise.

Then I used the mayonnaise to make my Homemade Sriracha Dip.

Ingredients

  • 1 head cauliflower, rinsed & cut into equal bite sized pieces
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika

Directions

  1. Place the cauliflower into a large bowl. Add the olive oil and toss well with a large spoon for about two minutes.
  2. Add the salt, pepper and paprika then toss well for another two minutes.
  3. Pour the mixture into the air fryer basket and air fry at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.
  4. Stir and continue to air fry for 5 more minutes.
  5. Stir and continue to air fry one more time for 2-5 minutes, depending on the size of the pieces. The Cauliflower should be starting to get a light brown and cooked through, not crunchy.
  6. Serve as is or with a dipping sauce. I used a mayonnaise and Sriracha dipping sauce that I made from scratch.

  1. Roasted cauliflower is one of my favourite veggie sides and this looks delicious! Love the spicy Mayo dip too. Kraft had a Scirachamayo dip that we like to go with French fries but your homemade dip looks good!

    • Isn’t it crazy how delicious this turns out? I am still shocked. My daughter makes this and told me to try it so I came up with my own recipe and I will definitely be making it again! Thanks so much!

    • I know what you’re saying Linda. I never cared for it but my goodness was this good! So much so that I had my hubby get two more heads this week so I can make more. Thanks!

      • Oh that’s funny Diane. Sounds like it is a keeper recipe then. I thought you’d like cauliflower since you like broccoli florets. I don’t like the consistency of raw cauliflower. My mom made it and put cheese sauce over top of it, but we didn’t have it too much.

  2. I love cauliflower I dont have an air fryer though. Could I just bake them? I bake my buffalo cauliflower “wings” but I was wondering if the taste is a lot different?

    • I think it would taste the same but it may take longer to cook is all. If you try them let me know how they turned out. I bought 2 more heads to make in the upcoming days as my 6 year old grandson insisted I make them again…..go figure!

    • I just made this again today for our lunch. My husband has always hated cauliflower until I made this! I really love using the air fryer. I use the Ninja Foodi because it’s not only an air fryer but also slow cooks, dehydrates, bakes, pressure cooks and more. Mine is an 8 qt. and it holds an entire chicken. I love it!

  3. I got an air fryer for Christmas, so I’ll be checking out this recipe as well as the rest of your air fryer recipes. Merry Christmas!

    • Lucky Lady! There hasn’t been one thing I haven’t loved cooked in my air fryer. Use a thermometer always and when the item gets close to temperature keep checking every 1-2 minutes as it cooks fast. I think my favorite thing is wings. Have fun!
