Slow Cooker Round Steak With Mushrooms
Round Steak so tender you can cut it with a spoon. Cooking in a slow cooker makes a delicious sauce, with mushrooms, that is amazing drizzled over mashed potatoes or rice.
Ingredients
Cut the round steak into large serving size
pieces then cut away large sections of fat.
In a small bowl combine the dry Lipton
Onion Soup mix and water with a fork.
In a large bowl add the Cream of
Mushroom soup. Stir in the Lipton
soup mixture until combined.
Add the mushrooms.
Gently stir the mushrooms into the soup.
Place the steak into a slow cooker.
Spread the soup mixture over the top.
Cook on low for 8 – 10 hours then serve.

Oh wow! A long time but definitely worth it 😋
I’ve made something extremely similar (maybe exactly the same, actually) several times over the years. It is FABULOUS! Thank you for reminding me of it!
Awesome
Another yummy recipe, Diane! 👏

So easy, so good, and such easy cleanup!
Thank you and enjoy!
This looks delicious! I’m always looking for crockpot recipes. I’ll be trying this on Sunday; serve it over buttered egg noodles! Thanks for sharing!
Sounds wonderful!
Thanks Robin.💕
Oh damn another recipe the husband is now saying I s his favorite! Really great.
🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 I had to read your comment to my husband. We are both laughing. Thank you it is nice to laugh!
Yum! I think I would like that over noodles right now!
I never thought about putting it over noodles…great idea! I have always loved it over mashed potatoes so I always do that. May have to have it your way next time! Thanks ❤️
mmm mashed potatoes!!!
That looks so good Diane – I know I am going to get a slow cooker when I have more time for food prep – I could sit down and police off a big helping right now.
You could buy one, cut it in half and freeze the other half to make later then cut the recipe in half! Or…….LEFTOVERS! 🤣😂🤣😂🤣
I do intend to do a few things more than I do now – it is a little pitiful that I don’t spend more time in meal prep. I did used to make meals for the entire week before I started blogging – it seemed between the walking, blogging – no time. But that’s a bad excuse I know.
Oh, God this looks so darn good.
Thank you so much!!!!!
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Mmmmmm… 😁
Thanks Jo I make this a lot.
It looks just gorgeous!
Looks delicious and you had me at the slow cooker.
Thank you and I agree, not only is a slow cooker easy but the food always tastes great cooked in them.
I think I will try this with venison and see how that works. Thanks!
I bet it will be great, you could even make a tomato base sauce with it. I wish I had access to venison!
Slow cookers are so wonderful to cook meat so it is so tender. Thank you for sharing.
You’re welcome Carl.
Thanks for the tip!
This looks delicious, Diane.
Thank you Kellye, another easy and tender meal.
I’ve made this before, Diane, but without the onion soup mix. My mouth is watering! That sounds like a very nice addition to the recipe. I’ll try it!
It adds a lot of extra flavor Janet, enjoy!
