Watermelon Lemonade
If you love Watermelon and Lemonade as much as I do, you will want to try this refreshing drink. Put it in a punch bowl for a party or a glass to sip all day. There are only four ingredients in this delicious drink. Make this with a sugar substitute for an even healthier drink.

NICE A HOT DAY DIANE, MY MUM USED TO MAKE GINGER BEER FROM A GINGER PLANT SHE GREW IN A BOTTLE, CHINA
Oh that sounds wonderful China! I love to make a raspberry liqueur and cherry bounce. Both get fruit and alcohol then sit in the sun in a large glass bottle until ready to strain and bottle…..SO good!

Thanks so much China!
it sounds delicious never heard of it before will certainly try. just worried now over Brexit in UK as pension will suffer as euro is reaching parity with pound in free fall. My investment to in that mess as pound is being lowered hourly on stock market and the idiots in Parliament still have no deal. It is very worrying time for Europe and uk economy now. how it will effect USA is yet to be seen but it will most certainly hit the dollar rate too
How awful! The stock market here is going down too. Scary at this age because we plan on using ours in next 5 years. Could make a huge difference in the way we retire.
Ok I’m making this TODAY!!!
I hope you enjoy it! All that fresh lemon juice combined with the watermelon was so refreshing.
This recipe is an amazing idea. My stomach is usually in pain after having watermelon but the citrus can help.
Aw Sara what a shame! Yes between the added water and lemon juice it should cut the effects of the watermelon quite a bit. Thanks for reading!
Wow, a very refreshing and savoury drink. I would love to try it, thank you for sharing this recipe.
You are very welcome!
This sounds great! I guess blending the watermelon with the sugar completely solves the problem of the sugar dissolving (and therefore, no need to make a simple syrup). Genius! I will make this on the weekend!
Yes the sugar did completely dissolve. This was so refreshing!
Oh, I see I read this incorrectly, but I still bet that using the watermelon helps the sugar dissolve.
Yes it would eventually dissolve. It dissolved pretty quickly with the lemon juice, probably due to the acid in the lemon juice. Thanks Angela.
This sounds so refreshing for this time of year!!
It really was Erica, thank you!

What a lovely summer drink, and perfect for using a surplus of lemons. I’ll keep this recipe for summer, but i won’t be waiting for a party to use it. I’ll use sugar for sure, it might not be considered healthy, but at least it’s real.
I agree Chris, sugar for me too! Thank you!
