Easy Peach Dumplings
How on Earth can something this easy taste so good? Served warm and topped with vanilla ice cream was unbelievably delicious! I used the fresh peaches I previously had frozen and posted, however, you can use a fresh peach as well. This is one you will want to try.
Here is the link my freezer peaches but remember fresh peaches are just as good. http://indianeskitchen.com/2019/07/11/how-to-freeze-peaches

Ingredients
Butter the bottom and sides
of an 8″ square baking dish.
Unroll the crescent roll triangles.
Place one peach slice at the widest end.
Roll the dough around the
peach starting at the wide end.
Place the dumpling into the buttered
dish with 4 dumplings in two rows.
Keep the dumplings away from the sides.
Combine the sugar and cinnamon.
Melt the butter in the microwave.
Add the cinnamon mixture
to the melted butter.
Stir just until combined.
Spoon the cinnamon mixture over
the dumplings completely
coating each dumpling.
Pour the orange juice along the
four sides of the baking dish being
careful not to pour onto the dumplings.
Bake in a preheated 350 degree
oven for 35 – 40 minutes until the
dumplings are a golden brown.
Place on a plate while still warm
and add vanilla ice cream on top.
Drizzle some of the cinnamon
sauce from the baking dish on
top of the ice cream then serve.

Great recipe!
Oh definitely Jess! I just love these crescent rolls! Thanks!
It’s a peach in a blanket! How cool would it be to have pigs in the blanket for the savory then these! Littleblackdomicile.com
Great idea Laurel! The crescent rolls are covered in cinnamon sugar and taste nothing like a crescent roll so the two would be great together!
Looks so yummy! Love these cute sweet dumplings. 🙂
They tasted so good with lots of cinnamon flavor too! Thank you Megala.
It looks yummy!
Thank you it definitely was. ❤
Welcome! Have a blessed day! 💙
Omg this looks so mouthwatering! And those crescent rolls are so versatile! I have seen so many recipes created from them but never something like this!! So good, Diane! Thank you for sharing!
You’re welcome! What’s funny is they don’t even taste like crescent rolls when you taste them. More like a sweet roll.
I’ll have to make these sometime Diane!!
WHAT?! There’s such a thing as peach dumplings?! How did I not know this?
You are a true friend, to share this marvellous dessert with us. 🙂
I know all you ever hear about is apple dumplings! You’re welcome!
Thank you they really did taste amazing.
Oh my gosh, the picture of it right out of the oven is amazing. 🤤
It was so good Hunida! Thanks so much!
I made this today Diane and it was very good……esp the cinnamon sauce. Had it with vanilla ice cream which made it even better. I bought a big box of No.2 peaches for canning on Wed and made 15 jars of peach freezer jam and still had some left over to freeze 3 containers of sliced peaches and make this recipe, so that was a bargain.
Joni I am so glad you liked it! Making jam is so rewarding isn’t it? I have bags of frozen sliced peaches in the freezer so stay tuned for more peach recipes as I try them.
I just bought a basket of peaches, I may try this one. My grandkids love peaches and this looks so easy Diane.
It was very easy and good. Let me know how they like it Carla.
