Homemade Chocolate Brownies
Don’t ever buy Brownies from a box again. These are the best Homemade Chocolate Brownies I have ever made. This recipe is so easy, delicious and it costs just pennies to make!!!! Add frosting if you wish. I didn’t add frosting because I made these for my grandkids and they don’t have a huge sweet tooth yet my 4 year old grandson ate two!
Here is my link to Hershey’s One Bowl Buttercream Chocolate Frosting that I posted a while back. It tastes amazing and will be perfect with these brownies. http://indianeskitchen.com/2018/02/24/hersheys-one-bowl-buttercream-frosting

Thanks for the recipe! I’m not a fan of the box mixes.
You’re welcome! It is so easy and cheap to make this way I don’t know why anybody buys the box mixes.
Yummy 😋
Thank you they were amazing!
Save a corner piece for me, Diane!
You will have to fight my grandson for a piece! He has had 4 pieces and he just got here last night! They are definitely a keeper…..lol
I love brownies! Then again, who doesn’t? Great recipe. I follow a similar one.
Oh yes brownies are the best!
Your brownie look so delicious..just love it. 😊

I never thought of it like that! You are right!! Thank you!
Yummy!!
Thank you it is an delicious recipe. ❤️
Again, another delicious dessert!
I only had one small piece, the grandkids devoured it! It was very good! Thank you Valerie!
Wait til the baby gets teeth! They look yummy and you always get tons of likes when it is anything chocolate!
OMG Linda! My 4 year old grandson would have eaten the entire batch if I had let him. He had 2 pieces last night and woke up asking for the brownies. There were only 2 pieces left tonight (I only had one and my husband none) and we told him they were his sisters because he had more than she did. He ran to his room crying! She decide to take her 2 pieces home and she told him he could have one at home..hahahahaha I think he liked them! New grandson is coming for lunch with mom, dad and my mother in law tomorrow. Chicken pot pie for lunch. I had my husband pick up store bought cookies because I didn’t have time to bake and the brownies are all gone.
That’s funny with your 4-year old grandson Diane. What kid does not love brownies? That is so funny that he went crying to his room because no more brownies! Chicken pot pie sounds good and you’ll enjoy that visit – he’s probably getting big already, but you said you were keeping current with pictures on social media so you may not notice it as much when you see him.
Who wouldn’t love these?!
Hahaha you’re right Erica….Chocolate!
Delicious! I do agree about making homemade over box. It takes a few minutes to measure the ingredients but it is worth the time! 💕
Right & even with box mixes I think you still have to add oil & egg I believe. These were amazing Bernice. Thanks!
Yes, typically you add an egg and oil. Home made so much better. 🙂
YUM!!! These sound so good!! And easy. I like easy..
They are the best brownies I have ever made! Thank you Vicki!
ooh! I was craving brownies and just had about three muffins in the morning to settle myself lol but now I NEED to try this!! it really looks great!
Oh please give them a try. They turned out delicious even though all I got was the smallest one in the dish! My grandkids devoured them…lol
Yum! Do you have a recipe for lemon bars? Mine don’t always come out right, and I’m not sure why.
You know I do but have no idea where I put it! That is one of the reasons I started my blog….to organize my recipes! 🤣😂🤣😂 When I come across it I will do a blog on it. I remember they were very good!
Excellent! The first few times I made them, they were perfect. Strangely, in more recent attempts, the top was dark but the inside was still a bit gooey. I’m thinking maybe I didn’t whip it long enough. It said three minutes or until light and fluffy. I don’t know what light and fluffy is supposed to look like, so I just did it three minutes. Maybe years ago when I first made them, I had a better concept of this. They still tasted great, but I know they can be better and more attractive looking.
I sent my mom a message because I think she gave me the recipe years ago. She may be able to find it faster than me..lol
Awh, thanks!
Brownies are great!
They are aren’t they! 😎
These look just PERFECT. Yumm. I can practically taste that batter!
Mackenzie these are so much tastier than store bought and just as easy to make! Thank you for your kind words!
I love how easy, step by step, you make every recipe on your blog…you should write a kids cookbook with your grandson!
Thank you for being so kind Stacey. I know I do a little too many steps but I figure there are always brand new cooks out there and what seems simple to me will not be simple to them. I would love knowing a beginner cook successfully made one of my recipes. I would love to write cookbooks but I would have no idea where to even begin.
M learning to make cakes.. Wanted to try brownies and got this. Simple and great recipe.. Going to try this👍
Wonderful!!!! They are very good-enjoy!
Brownies are a perfect dessert. They’re so easy to make, and you can dress them up or dress them down.
It’s been far too long since I made brownies. I think I’ll have to make a batch this weekend.
I agree and I usually like frosting on mine but this recipe was perfect without! Enjoy!
I might try these. I find the box kind to be far too chocolatey, and I think it’s too much lol. These dont seem to have too much of it.
Try them & if you still think these are too Chocolatey cut back on the cocoa powder a bit. That’s what’s nice about homemade, we can make adjustments. Have a great weekend!
that’s very true 🙂
thanks! you as well!
These brownies look so delicious!
Thanks Megala!
Thank you so much!!!
Reblogged this on .
Thank you very much! 💕
Thank you 🙂
