Italian Pasta Casserole
Cheesy buttered pasta layered with saucy ground beef then topped with more cheese! Who doesn’t love a delicious casserole? This recipe is great for the kids or the adults and my grandkids loved this one!
Ingredients
Spray a 4 quart casserole
dish with cooking spray.
Add the ground beef to a large
frying pan over medium heat.
Cook until no more pink
remains then drain any grease.
Add the herbs and mix.
Add the spaghetti sauce and stir.
Bring to a simmer and simmer
for 10-15 minutes until thick.
Boil the pasta according to the package
directions cooking them al dente then drain.
Add the butter and toss until the butter melts.
Add the Parmesan cheese and toss.
Place 1/3rd of the sauce into the bottom of
the casserole dish. Top with 1/2 of the pasta.
Top with 1/3rd of the sauce again.
Top with the last half of the pasta.
Top with the rest of the sauce.
Sprinkle the Mozzarella
cheese evenly on top.
Cover with a lid or foil and
bake for 35 minutes in a
preheated 350 degree oven.
Remove from the oven, remove the
lid and let sit for 5 minutes then serve.

- 8 oz wide egg noodles
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning

- 6 oz shredded Mozzarella cheese
Directions

This looks so yummy Diane. We use a lot of fresh, ground Italian pork from a local farm so I probably would substitute that, This is going on the menu for this week!!
