Magic Shell Ice Cream Topping
This will blow your mind! You won’t believe the simple ingredient to this delicious magical chocolate syrup that is a liquid but when you pour it over your ice cream it turns into a hard shell of creamy delicious chocolate! This is just like the Magic Shell Ice Cream Topping Smucker’s sells! Well now you can make your own at a fraction of the cost and in my opinion, it even tastes better! This recipe makes about 3/4 cup and can be stored for up to 2 months at room temperature in an air tight container. Enjoy because we sure did!

I need to make this! Do you remember a product called Spoon Candy? I think Jello made it and it came in several different candy bar flavors. It had a top layer like this too.

It was only made for 2 years back in the early 1970s.

Yes the news just said we will get to -39 wind chill!

I refuse to “like” that statement – ha ha. They are now saying -35 to -40 for us … originally was -30 and now -8 air temps. Wish this was over. I don’t know how much snow we got but we might get some freezing rain now tonight … great … a little more to deal with.

Just had to hunt down Magic Shell at our grocery store. Had a hankerin’ for it, but I didn’t want to go all the way to Target to get it. So much easier just to make it!
