That looks like it would be great with just a spoon! Was that homemade vanilla in the picture?

Good eye yes it is homemade vanilla! Not only is it good with a spoon, have you ever had frosting on a saltine cracker?

Diane, all of your recipes look fabulous. I gave you a shout out yesterday on my TidePodcast.
Would you consider being a guest on TidePodcast one day?

Wow what an honor! I have never…ever…done anything like this. I will need to think about it. I have only ever heard a podcast once and it was a segment with a fellow blogger…lol I would like to listen to yours to get a feel for it if that’s ok?

As I try to talk myself into this, how is this done?

It’s easy actually. We connect either through Facebook or Skype. We figure out a date and time that works for both of us.
We conduct a quick 5 minute test call a few days prior (this is also de conflicted)
Once the day arrives, I call you up and we just have a simple and fun conversation.

I’ve done a few so far. If you would like, please ask them of their experience with the whole process.

Homemade frosting makes me SO nervous. I never seem to get the consistency right. But this sounds simple and delicious, so maybe I’ll give it a try!

I use a similar recipe to make chocolate frosting – and, like you, have found it to be easy to make and tasty.

Oh how decadent – I used to love licking the beaters whenever my mom baked something and used beaters … I was still licking the beaters when I was a big girl come to think of it … hmm.

Well of course we still lick the beaters! After all we don’t want all that fat going down the drain and clogging it up! hahaha

Ha ha- best excuse ever for licking the beaters!!!
