Baked French Toast Wedges
You will not believe what this is made from! If you love French Toast and bread pudding you will love this recipe, I sure did! It has all the flavor of French Toast and sort of reminds me of bread pudding. Top it off with syrup, powdered sugar or any fruit topping or just eat it plain.

Ingredients
Spray a 9” deep pie plate with cooking oil.
Cut the English Muffins into 1” cubes.
Place the cubes in the pie
plate in a single layer.
In a medium bowl whisk the eggs.
Add the sugar, cinnamon, vanilla,
salt and nutmeg to the eggs.
Whisk until combined.
Add the butter and the
half-n-half (cream or milk).
Whisk until combined.
Slowly pour the mixture evenly
over the cubed English Muffins.
Cover and let sit in the
refrigerator for 2 hours to
overnight. Remove the cover and
use a spoon to press down on the cubes.
Bake in a preheated 350 degree
oven for 40 – 45 minutes.
Remove from the oven and cool
on a cooling rack for 10 minutes.
Cut into wedges and serve with syrup,
powdered sugar or your favorite fruit topping.

- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1-2/3 cups half-n-half, cream or whole milk
- 2 Tbsp butter, melted
- 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
Directions
- Spray a 9” deep pie plate with cooking spray.
- Cut the English muffins into 1” cubes.
- Lay the cubes in a single layer in the pie plate.
- In a medium bowl, whisk the eggs together.
- Add the sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, salt and nutmeg to the eggs and whisk together.
- Add the butter and half-n-half (cream or milk), whisk until combined.
- Slowly pour the egg mixture evenly over the English muffins.
- Cover and refrigerate for 2 hour to overnight.
- Remover the cover and use a spoon to press down on the muffin cubes.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Bake for 40-45 minutes.
- Cool on a cooling rack for 10 minutes.
- Cut into wedges and serve with syrup, powdered sugar or your favorite fruit topping.

GP this was so good! I just reheated the last of them for lunch! They can be frozen too. Just make them, put them between waxed paper and in a freezer container for up to 1 month! Then place the frozen ones on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 until hot at 350 degrees.
I’ll bet it’s even better then!!
