Homemade Powdered or Confectioners Sugar


With the holiday baking ahead of me, I will use a lot of Powdered Sugar or Confectioners sugar. I don’t know why this sugar has two names but it is the same thing. It drives me crazy when I go to make a recipe and I don’t have enough Powdered Sugar to frost a cake or finish a recipe. The thing is, I don’t panic anymore and I don’t run to the store either, I just make my own!

  1. I have this recipe. We are forever running out of powdered sugar now that my daughter bakes just to bake. The reason it probably has two names is professional and layman’s terms.
