Italian Red Wine Vinegar

When I take a client out to eat my husband is on his own for dinner. The man LOVES salads! He eats a salad almost every day. Me on the other hand, I would rather have my veggies cooked or raw with a little salt. I personally feel you lose the health benefit of veggies when you dump salad dressing on a salad and that’s the only way I can eat a salad. He makes his own Italian Red Wine Vinegar Salad Dressing along with fabulous looking salads, as you can see. He puts everything he can find in his salads. This recipe uses a lot of Italian Seasoning, which he loves, so adjust the amount to your own taste. He uses 2 Tbl of Italian Seasoning and I personally would use 1 tsp. Italian Red Wine Vinegar



1/3 cup red vine vinegar

2/3 cup oil

1 tsp – 2 Tbl Italian seasoning, amount to your own personal taste


Place all ingredients into a container with a lid and shake until well combined. Allow to sit for a few hours for the seasoning to meld into the red wine vinegar and oil. Shake well before each use. Does not need refrigeration.
