Tomorrow the oriole and hummingbird feeders go up. Both birds should arrive here any day now and I always look forward to seeing them, nature is so amazing!

Blue Jay’s have always been my favorite bird, since I was a kid. I’ve need had the good fortune to see an Oriole. Your photos really capture both bird’s beauty! 🙂
Thank you for your kind words. The first time we saw an Oriole here we ran around the yard just to catch another glimpse. Then I put a feeder out and they have come back every year. I hope I didn’t jinx myself saying that! 🤣
Both photos of the birds is wonderful. I don’t think we get Grosbeak in our region.
They are so pretty but they don’t hang around long once they get here. We had our first Oriole today so hummingbirds should be here any day. Thank you!
They are beautiful! It’s amusing we get similar birds in our backyards. Cardinals and finches are the most common. If we’re lucky, blue jays and orioles. We also get grosbeaks during their migration back from the south. Truly beautiful birds!

So that’s why my orioles don’t stay all summer, they come to visit you too, I don’t mind sharing them. 🤣 They do have the most beautiful color.
What colorful visitors you have!
Our orioles came today, bright orange! We get such a variety of birds but we have fed them for over 30 years.
Oh, orioles are so beautiful. Haven’t seen any at our new home. Yet.
I love watching the birds. We feed them, too. My favorites are the yellow finches and cardinals. Hope you get lots of birds!

Great pics Diane ! I love the Grosbeaks, they are so pretty. We don’t get them in our backyard, or the Orioles, but we do get lots of Blue jays and also Cardinals.

You are lucky to be able to do so Diane. I have no windows I can open as my blinds are stuck in a shut position so I can’t see out them. So that bad if I wanted to watch any birds at the feeder.
