I tried a no bake cookie one and my boys and wife said no again 🤣🤣
It’s a cookie you either love or hate. But in defense of the cookie, I have had many I did not like because they were made too dry. It took me years to make them moist.
I have read about cornstarch and it’s ability to make baked goods more soft and moist. I have used in a few sweet desserts and it does work.
I remember making these ages ago. It is nice to have the recipe again!
I have tasted a lot of buckeyes and this is the best I ever had. I’m glad you have a recipe again Linda.

They go back many, many decades. It took me quite a few years to figure out how to get them thick. I used to make them and they were so thin because they spread out. Follow the directions and yours should turn out just like this. Thank you Corna 🌲

You’re right about that Diane. I hate that I have no extra plugs in this house, but then again, I’d have nowhere else to put it even if I did. In the meantime, I put Chapstick in “cake batter flavor” yesterday. 🙂
