Air Fryer Sliced Potatoes

Sliced potatoes cooked in the Air Fryer are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and very good!

Soak your peeled and sliced potatoes
in water over night in the refrigerator.
I left mine in there for two days. Drain
and pat dry with paper towels then
place in a medium bowl.

Drizzle with the oil, then
salt and pepper to taste.

Toss until all of the potatoes
are coated in the oil.

Preheat the air fryer for 5 minutes at 390
degrees. Place the potatoes in the air fryer
basket. Cook for 5 minutes then toss.
Cook another 5 minutes then toss.
Cook in 3 minutes increments, tossing
each time, until the potatoes are cooked
to your liking. I cooked mine for 20
minutes because they were sliced thick.

Serve immediately and enjoy!

Ingredients
- 3 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
Directions
- Place your prepared potatoes into a bowl. Cover with water and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, overnight is best.
- Drain the potatoes and pat dry with paper towels.
- Preheat the air fryer for 5 minutes at 390 degrees.
- Add oil, salt and pepper to the potatoes and toss until every potato slice is coated with oil.
- Air fry for 5 minutes then toss. Air fry another 5 minutes then toss.
- Air fry 3 minutes at a time, tossing each time, until the potatoes are cooked to your liking. My potatoes were sliced thick and they took about 20 minutes. Thinner slices will cook faster so watch them carefully then serve.

Sounds delicious!
YUMMY – can’t wait to try this! Love the taders – haha.
Thanks! They were really good and without all the grease.
These look really tasty, great how you can do them so quickly in the air fryer as well. 🙂
Thank you Paul. 💕
I actually made these and they were outstanding! Just call me the kitchen goddess! 💕C
Woo hoo! Talk about spreading your wings. 👼
The Air Fryer Queen does it again! We used to go to a ribs place – they brought a platter of ribs sitting on top of a bed of sliced fried potatoes just like these. A huge crusty garlic bread was piled on top of the ribs and a heaping platter of coleslaw in a bowl (no room on the plate). We’d go home stuffed and didn’t go too often but always a treat. Seeing these potatoes brought back some nice memories of “The Boneyard”.
OMG my son took me there in Toledo! They were packed and very good. Thank you Linda!❤️
Wow – I didn’t know they were a franchise now or had more than one. They were just a small place on the borderline of Detroit but always tasty.
Thank you for reblogging Ned❤️
They look like potato chips! Love the simplicity and healthiness of them.
We do make potato chips this way but the potatoes are sliced much thinner. I need to do a post on them. Lol
Please do. I am a potato chip fanatic!
Love that you soaked them first. Smart.
Thank you Jessica ❤️
You’re welcome! 💗
💜 Potato 🥔 😋 😍 💖 💕 ♥️ 🥔 to The Max EveryOne; doesn’t have to be an “Air Fryer” EveryBody Chips 🍟 ARE Chips and can be Deep Fried

You’ve definitely mastered your machine!
I am having so much fun with my air fryer Dorothy. My Ninja Foodi has so many other options for cooking but all I seem to use is the air fryer. I still haven’t gotten brave enough to try the pressure cooker option. Lol
Oh, it will be a piece of cake!
Who doesn’t love fried potatoes? This gives me an idea for another Friday night dinner recipe. Hope I remember lol!!
I can’t wait to see what it is! 💕
I have to make myself a note; I might forget by Friday lol! 😂 💕
This is how I make potato chips. Delicious, delicious and crunchy.

Ah, the airfryer again 😉 … now, that we moved to a new city (and home), I might just add this to my shopping list! I like that the potatoes are soft inside and crispy on the outside.
