Italian Meatballs Wrapped In Biscuits
A meal or an appetizer, you decide but I made these a meal. These are made with canned biscuits (or your own), seasoned, stuffed with a meatball, topped with butter and Parmesan cheese, baked then dipped in spaghetti sauce. You have to taste these, they were amazing!
Take the biscuits out of the can and split each one in half.
Using your hand, flatten the biscuits to about a 3” circle.
Lightly sprinkle with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
Place a meatball in the center.
Wrap the dough around the meatball and pinch to seal.
Place the dough, pinched side
down, onto an ungreased baking sheet.
Brush dough with melted butter
and sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven
for 20 – 25 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve immediately with warm spaghetti sauce for dipping.

They looked wonderful Diane. When we visited my grandmother in Toronto for a four-day holiday, an Italian woman down the street made a huge pot of spaghetti and brought it down. My mom would feast on spaghetti and I would go to the store which sold cheddar cheese buns and buy them to go with the meatballs – a little slice of Heaven.

She was a great cook – her father lived with her and he liked spaghetti with each meal. Had to be spaghetti so whenever we visited, she’d bring down a big pot of it and we put it to good use. 🙂

I would have made a good Italian – I like pasta and meatballs! My mom and I liked spaghetti and meatballs, but after our next-door neighbor brought over spaghetti pie, we started having that more and more.

I liked it both ways but I’m a fan of cheese, so the baked spaghetti with all the gooey cheese was something I really liked.
