Merry Christmas Diane to you and your family. I taught my children the true reason for Christmas and my children have taught theirs. I too think it is important they know the truth.
Christmas is so centered on gifts today. When my kids were young we always had a cake that said said Happy Birthday Jesus. Merry Christmas!
Love the cake idea. I read the Christmas story from the Bible every Christmas, the kids never tired of hearing it.

You raised all those young’uns right Diane. I thought perhaps that people would have a different take about Christmas this year due to the pandemic, but I’m not sure that happened.
I think the pandemic made us all look at Christmas differently this year but hopefully we all remember what the true meaning of Christmas is and that won’t change.
Yes, I hope we remember the true meaning of Christmas too Diane – it is easy for people to get caught up in gift buying, glitz and glamour of parties and all the fun food and drinks at the holidays … this year, I think people had more meaning in their Christmas.

Thank you it was extra special because our grandkids were quarantined with us since my daughter is an ICU nurse. They went home Feb. 1st because she had her 2nd vaccine shot. I hope yours was just as wonderful!
