Chicken & Noodles With Peas
Shredded chicken and noodles mixed with a creamy cheesy soup mixture, peas and seasoning. This is cooked completely on top of the stove in about 30 minutes and is very kid friendly!
Ingredients – Plus pepper
Cook the noodles according
to the package directions.
Drain thoroughly.
Return noodles to the pot.
While the noodles cook, melt the butter
over medium heat in a large pot.
Add both kinds of soup.
Whisk until combined then whisk in
the adobo seasoning and pepper.
Slowly whisk in the chicken broth.
Whisk until smooth and creamy.
Add the shredded cooked chicken.
Stir constantly until hot and bubbly
and chicken starts to fall apart.
This only takes a few minutes.
Add the frozen peas, stir
and cook about 1 minute.
Pour the sauce on top of the
noodles and toss to combine.
Place into serving bowls and serve.

Looks good – take tomorrow off for Mother’s Day and all your efforts at being a perfect Grandmother as well.
Oh Linda you are just so kind!!! I already thawed out a roast for tomorrow, I wasn’t even thinking…lol
Glad to make you smile Diane – you can try for tomorrow as you will just have roast beef sandwiches (unless you make roast beef hash)?
I turned it into beef and vegetable soup for dinner tonight.
I never even thought of putting pees in my soups! Honestly, I’m kind of scared when it comes to trying new things, lol. But this I might just have to try!
Oh yes they are so good in soup. Just don’t over cook them. Put them in at the end so they don’t get mushy. I cooked mine for 1 minute.
Ok thank you!
Quick and easy.. thank you 🙂
