Made with crescent rolls, filled with Blueberries and Cream Cheese then drizzled with a lemon flavored icing is what makes this one amazing treat! You can put this together in no time at all. It is sure to be a big hit.

This is another recipe from the cooking class that I went to. I apologize for the picture quality but not being in my own kitchen and a classroom setting made it difficult.

The chef had us put lemon zest in ours, however,

that did not work for me as it was crunchy

after it baked. I have left it off of the recipe card.

  1. “OMG!” This looks fantastic! I almost passed it up, because I don’t eat a lot of sugary things, but I was impressed that there’s only one teaspoon of sugar in the filling. (I can always modify the icing.) Haven’t tried this one yet, but I’m pretty sure it’s a keeper. 🙂

  2. Yassssss!!!!! This is the type of a thing I’ve been looking for!!!! Something where you just mix berries with flour and sugar and put it in a prepared dough of some sort!!!! Thank you!!!!!

    Can’t wait to try this.

      • I am so frustrated WP is not allowing me to comment on your site. It is letting me like some blogs/posts and not others. It keeps logging me off and makes me log back in….errrrrrrr! Anyhow, I wanted to commented on how cute Parker looked in his hat and that I couldn’t believe the city didn’t know how many years!

      • I wonder why – I certainly did not block you. i can reach out to WordPress and see if they can figure it out – that is bizarre. Parker sure is a cutie – I was amazed the City didn’t know as this Park is a real gem. I contacted them to tell them about all the graffiti. There is lots of it, and they deface the trees, and natural places as well the park benches, and the trashcans and walking path asphalt.
But inside the inline skating rink, they wrote stuff about “you will die” … they said they’d have someone paint it over and ask me if they did this yet – nope. I did not want to write this on my site … I’m sure gang members are not reading my blog, but it is also published online for our local paper, so I take no chances disparaging anyone. Thanks for letting me know about the problem posting – hope they can correct it. I’ve got to get a move on … still dark a little out there.

      • It’s not just your site, it’s random and only when I try to go to their site after they comment on mine. Anyhow, how sad people can’t find better things to do then destroy parks! Have a great weekend Linda it is going to be gorgeous!

      • OK, that is good to know I’m not the only one. Now someone told me that they wrote to WordPress one time because every time they sent a message to one blogger it ended up in their SPAM filter. WordPress said if they got a post in Reader and replied right away that it might be deemed SPAM. I wonder if that could happen? I doubt most people reply right away to a Reader post.

      • Technology certain is a pain sometimes! Thank you for trying – have you tried another browser – sometimes that works. I cannot do captions on WordPress photos unless I use Opera browser – Chrome and Internet Explorer (I still use Windows 7) only will allow the occasional caption, the rest are bare – makes no sense to me at all.

  3. I made this today, Diane. Absolutely delicious, but for me there was too much filling. I think next time, I might try to use either two cans or see if I can buy ones that have bigger crescent rolls. My daughter and her husband loved them, but boy were they messy. Yum!

  4. Diane this looks great. I saw you mentioned in a comment about subbing puff pastry instead. Would you just lay out two puff pastry sheets, one on top and bottom then bake? I remember making something similar with raspberries and cutting the puff pastry so it was individual pastries.

Also, if adding lemon zest, do you add it in the filling?

  5. I could definitely go for this. It’s not blueberry season where I live, but I’m nonetheless seeing loads of blueberries at the grocery store. They are one of my favorite things.
