I see food and things just pop into my head. A local pizza place makes pizza with fruit and pizza dough but I thought why not pie dough. They don’t all turn out but I don’t post those…lol

Ice cream wouldn’t be optional for me! I love adding it to desserts. Your recipe sounds wonderful even without the ice cream, though. It looks like a great fall dessert.

You are very welcome Angela! We just cancelled out Thanksgiving family dinner. With family 91, 85, 80, 62 and 61 years old then all the young ones, it just isn’t worth it. Just when I got somebody to cook for me…lol Thanks Angela! ❤️

It’s very hard, isn’t it?

Yes it is, especially when the younger ones think this virus is nothing serious and not happy we all cancelled going.

I like how you ended your recipe by suggesting vanilla ice cream. Between you and me, vanilla ice cream is never “optional”… 😉

hahahaha I agree! I didn’t show it in the picture because it would have covered up the piece of pizza. I always have vanilla ice cream in my freezer.

Looks great. I was thinking I could just put one pie crust in a pie pan and then cut the ingredients in half, too. I’d add pecans to the topping, too. Thanks for the recipe.

Once again Katelon, a great idea! The caramel makes it very sweet and I think I remember you don’t like it that sweet. If so, you can leave the caramel off and add the pecans instead.
